A Long Island native, he brings nearly a decade of Wall Street experience as a licensed broker and advisor, along with leadership experience co-managing a New York-based retail trading firm. He later transitioned into the oil and gas industry, where he found his long-term professional focus. Chris is a devoted family man who enjoys time with his wife and two sons, especially fishing, boating, and traveling.
Daniel Hibbs is Vice President of Investor Relations at Optimum Energy Partners LLC. Since entering the oil and gas industry in 2015, he has drawn on a background that includes experience in banking and technology. Daniel values time with family and friends and enjoys golfing, boating, and t-ball with his daughter. He is based in Mabank, Texas.
Derrick May is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Optimum Energy Partners LLC. Derrick leads the firm’s strategic direction and oversees executive leadership and daily operations. He ensures that the infrastructure, people, and processes are in place to drive long-term success. With over 17 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, his background spans private equity, investment banking, and senior management roles, including facilitating energy transactions on both the buy and sell side. In his personal time, Derrick enjoys staying active through sports and prioritizes time with his wife and three children.
Dylan May is part of the Business Development team at Optimum Energy Partners. He earned his undergraduate degree at Wofford College, where he played baseball, and later completed his MBA at St. Edward’s University. Dylan enjoys staying active, playing ice hockey and softball, and following sports—especially as a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan.
Leo Lembo is an Account Executive at Optimum Energy Partners and a lifelong Long Island, New York resident. He started his career in commercial financing, spending seven years in the industry before moving into oil and gas. When he’s not working, Leo can usually be found golfing or enjoying meals prepared by his chef brother. Above all, he’s a die-hard New York Islanders fan.
